DNAzymeBuilder is a web application enabling the in situ choice and assembly of DNA- and RNA-cleaving DNAzymes.

DNAzymeBuilder relies on an internal database that contains comprehensive information on in vitro selected RNA- and DNA-cleaving DNAzymes.

Based on the input sequence provided by the user, DNAzymeBuilder searches for all possible cleavage sites on it, searches its internal database for the catalytic sequence able to cleave at those sites, and builds suitable biding arms according to the information available for each catalytic core sequence and to the substrate. The resulting candidate DNAzymes are presented along with relevant parameters such as their predicted reaction rate and yield, optimal reaction conditions, metal ion requirements, and links to relevant publications.
